Time with Teddy

Kyla is just shy of 5 months, and is starting to catch up to Teddy. Nine days ago, she weighed in at 14#2oz and 24.5" long.

She really is a genius!

After wailing at the top of her lungs for what felt like the longest bedtime on record, Kyla slept for 11 hours straight. Both Dwayne and I got up early this morning to check on her, concerned that she wasn't breathing. At 8:30, she opened her eyes up and smiled. When I went to record the moment for prosterity, she looked a little startled!

Polar Bear!

Kyla bundles up for her first ever winter wonderland walk. Mama got an exta workout pushing the stroller through the slush.

Rochelle's sister-in-law, Ann, and her neice, Ella, play with Kyla at Keith's birthday party. Ella received 4 baby dolls for Christmas and tried to name all of them "Baby Kyla"!

Kyla Jump-Up

Kyla got a jumper-thingie for Christmas. Since I had the camera out, I couldn't resist this cute picture.

Happy New Years!

Kyla is 4 months old now. She loves to stand and finds that far more exciting than sitting down. Here, she revisits Teddy and measures him up.
