I'm not sure that Kyla really noticed any animals with the distraction of leaves, water features, and other children, but she enjoyd the outing almost as much as her mother did.

Today, Rochelle and I went for an Adventure, dragging Kyla along. Our first stop on the most beautiful day thusfar of 2007 was the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Kyla also hiked around Deception Pass, witnessed her mother's reaction to a (gulp) snake, wimpered a bit through Fort Casey, and slept through her first ferry ride.
